On November 7th, 2000, Colorado voters approved a constitutional amendment recognizing the use of medical cannabis for debilitating medical conditions such as cancer, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, or a medical condititon or treatment that may be alleviated by the medical use of cannabis. The law only removes state-level penalties on the use, possession and cultivation of cannabis by patients in lawful possession of a registry ID card for up to two ounces of usable cannabis, or six plants(with three or less being mature.) However, federal laws still conflict with the 16 states who have medical cannabis laws entact. As Medical cannabis patients we endure the stigma imposed upon us for nearly 70 years of prohibtion. Despite ten year old medical marijuana laws, the fear and stigma still persist.The Green House is committed to providing SAFE and LEGAL access to medical cannabis and educating the community until the stigma disappears.
